In regards to my last class...A friend told me about placing your hand down and tracing it's outline....then seeing what happens.
I am dealing with another friend who is sick and even considering suicide. After talking with her for days, I realized that perhaps the only way I could help was to make ART. I have been daily making art postcards for her, seeking to connect and understand it all, talking to her on an archrtypal level that I know she understands...we are a lot alike. As I finished the card I reached for a red pen and traced out my hand...it seemed to be about making contact, making it real. It was a complete moment.
