B E W A R E, S E E W H E R E
In yoga class the other day with Rodney Yee, I was aware how much my vision was isolated and imploded. I was so "not" aware of my sight or what I was seeing. My vision seemed so far away and in my mind. That was it... my sight wasn't connected to anything. I wasn't present to the experience, the room, my body, heart, mind. I felt exhausted. Rodney had us look at a point in front of our eyes, eye level. We were to just look at it, notice everything about it, texture, shape, light, shadow. The amazing thing was that we were to just look at it and stay focused, stay with it, be with our miracle of sight. As we moved we were to keep seeing, and that... was the trip. Give it a try, and don't fool yourself. For a day, when you move around, keep looking. Instead going from object to object, from point to point "see" if you can be aware of the inbetweens, and don't do anyhting with them, just be present with it all. "When you move, the World moves."
