Setting:
dark room, big circle taped to the carpeted floor, kids quietly
sitting around, a single candle light in the middle of the room.
So....
as the story goes. Once upon a time there was a kid who got lost
in the woods. For 3 days the kids walked through a darkand mysterious
forest. On the thrid day they came to a clearing where light shown
down onto the ground. There they saw a dry river bed and at that
moment an old man walked out from the darkest part of the forest
and walked over to the kid and asked them,
"Who are you? and Why
are you here?
"Who
are you? and Why are you here?
The
old man then looked at the dry river bed and said to the kid,"What
did you do?"As
kids usually answer a question like this, they said,
" I didn't do it! It wasn't me."
Ever hear a kid say that? I have.
Just
then an owl flew down from hidding in a tree and landed on the
ground in the circle. The old man walked over to the owl and they
started to talk. Now I don't know if you know how to talk to animals
but you don't use english. You go deep inside yourself and you
listen and talk from there. The old man and the owl talked for
some time accosionally looking over at the kid and nodding.
The old man walked over to the kid and said that the owl told
him that the kid knows how to get the river to flow again. They
have to answer this question.
"Who
are you? and Why are you here?"
