The Hearts & Bones Art Class

This page is dedicated to the Creative Spirit within us all. The H & B Studio art class is an ongoing exploration into the Nature of Art and Spirit. This is a place to expand and grow, to become more aware of who you are and what you can do.

Beware though, creativity is about the unknown... there is no knowing what will happen, where you will go, who you will become, or what you will leave behind. The road is both smooth and bumpy so hold on tight, let go, and come along for the ride. What will you need? A good strong heart, a few minutes, hours, months, years... some courage, as much art medicine as you can find, a sketch book, and the re-membering of how to play and create a new world with every breath you take!

Exercise #40 :

Extra-Effort

When you finish a project, on your own, make 2 (two) portfolios of your recent work. Go visit where the production is still happening and give the Director one of the portfolios, and show the other one around. The Producers say they would each like one of the books and so would the president of the company. Bill for supplies and time. Know that only good things will come from this venture. And you a have a new portfolio to show around.

Trust youself! Any extra-effort will always pay off... ultimately doing it for yourself.
