Exercise #27 :
PUZZLE PIECES of the LOST and FOUNDS
Imagine that all the works you do are just pieces of a puzzle to your life, your soul, to some greater mystery.
Nothing more and nothing less, they are directly connected to the piece before and the piece after, they are all related to you. You could call them relatives!!!
What this creation of relations does is to relieve any pressure on any one piece being more important or having a greater meaning than another.
From the abstract doodle to the ten year painting which recently came out of the closet.
This facilitates the flow being more smooth and more consistence.
It seems to be the continual practice of interacting with the great unknown in each piece, the space between the thoughts,
the presence to your creative spirit with the world. They say artist are ones who seek deeply to know themselves. They do this through making art, but there
is an irony here which I find dear and know so well. You have to loose yourself in your art to come out with a ah-ha!!! and then you
go back in again to loose yourself to be found again and again.
Ah-Haaa!
