Re-Enchant the World through Art
Mark Wagner is a digital and
traditional artist, teacher, and dad. Wagner works as a concept artist, art director, creativity consultant, and
designer in film industry. Wagner has created concept
art for the new Pixar/Disney feature
film project - John Carter of Mars, and for fantasy and sci-fi films including Terminator 3, DreamKeeper,
RuneLords, The Book of Stars, and The Face.
Wagner is an internationally acclaimed illustrator and graphic
designer specializing in visionary art and global mythology. Wagner has an in-depth understanding in the psychology of visual
arts, symbolism, shamanism, and story-telling. He is currently working with the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of Natural History on a web site project about Paleoindians.
Wagner created the nonprofit Drawing on Earth that involes chalk drawing with kids and 3D anamorphic street painting. Their mission is to inspire art and creativity in youth and communities around the world. Their first event was to set a Guinness World Record for the largest chalk drawing. Small Town ~ Big Vision is a book and 30 minute documentary film about the world record. Wagner is beginning the next record attempt - a Global Illustrated Storybook. His first stop was Venezuela.
